Shanghai AiExpo is focused on organizing international exhibitions, conferences and forums in the field of energy. China New Energy Chamber of Commerce （CNECC）was established on January 13, 2006 in Beijing with the mission of promoting the new and renewable energy industries’ development in China. Instructed by ACFIC, the CNECC is initiated by Hanergy Group together with more than 100 leading enterprises of the industry. China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) Shanghai Pudong Sub-Branch was founded in 1994, following the establishment of the Pudong New Area, becoming CCPIT’s local branch office. Since its foundation the organisation has continuously provided outstanding services to both domestic and overseas companies, especially those involved in the Shanghai Pudong New Area, including trade cooperation, arbitration and information services, and hosting of trade shows. The organisation operates under the direct guidance of Shanghai Pudong New Area People's Government.

Shanghai Pudong International Exhibition Corp. is a wholly-owned company belonging to CCPIT Shanghai Pudong Sub-Branch. Founded in 1994, the company has already organised over 100 international exhibitions in more than 10 different fields, including automobiles, finance, machinery, audio, food products, animations, building materials, environmental protection and energy, making a strong contribution to the promotion of interaction between Chinese and overseas companies.
